How Does HumidX Work?

When you exhale, heat and moisture is captured and stored within the HME's tiny paper ridges.  When you inhale, this heat and moisture is realeased to humidify the air you breathe in.

sneezing/runny nose issues

I love the size of the airmini....and mine has been very quiet...no problem there. I use the same nose/mask I have always used. It is perfect for travel. However, I have had MAJOR issues with side effects. I use the Humidex piece but when I wake up in the morning my nose is so dry and irritated I literally sneeze for hours...used a whole box of kleenex. I used the airmini for 4 days and it happened everyday...even woke me up at 4 am sneezing. So then I went back to my big resmed with the water tank and heated hose and had no issues at all. I love the idea of the mini....just wish the side effects were not so bad. Lots of money for something I may not be able to use. Am trying other things to see if they help.
