ResMed's AirCurve 11 ASV adjusts to your individual breathing patterns as they change during the night. The algorithm, called adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV*), detects when you stop breathing and provides a breath.

*ASV therapy is contraindicated in patients with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2-4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.

Glad to have new AirCurve 11

Everything from ordering to receiving and set up has been wonderful. The associate on the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. When I got my machine set up was simple and fast and so far I am very happy with the AirCurve 11.

An improvement

I could be a bad example because I've had CPAP treatment for 6 months and it's gone relatively well. I usually get above a 90 on my air app, and I only had to go through a few masks to get the one that works best. I was somewhat skeptical that the air curve would be better than the success I was having with the airsense 11, but after about three nights I could tell that the pressure required was much lower, I could keep my mask a lot less tight on my face because there wasn't so much back pressure. So if someone's struggling it probably would be a good help. But it is definitely a different sensation for the better.
